Goto [ Index ] |
This book provides a color section detailing generic technical advances and overall technical level of society in the wake of the "Aberrent War", a war in which humanity fought with even more powerful psychics than those that lead the Orders.
From that point, the book jumps into a 'toy section' with everything from basic weaponry and medical equipment (no sci-fi game should be without) to bio-power armor that looks like something from anime'.
Overall the book is useful for Trinity players and Storytellers, and it plays on the fast combat system within Trinity. It also details a bit about ships and other vehicles.
One thing I found the book lacking in was alien tech and ships. Sci-fi games that talk about having ships should include more of them, unless they are never to be used. I noticed several color plates where the battlecruiser of the Chinese and Qin tech were shown but there was no more elaboration on the subject.
I found this book to be useful and well worth the money, even if you are only a casual player of Trinity.
Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
Substance: 5 (Excellent!)
