Review of Ronin Duels

Cell entertainment is a game company from Sweden that makes very innovative games. One of the games that looks and feels great is a game called Ronin: Duels.

Ronin: Duels is a game of mecha combat, in each of the starter sets there is a mecha that can be fully customized to your specifications. One of the things that I like out this game is that there is a mag-hit and mag-lock system. The mag lock system is used for your mecha's weapons.. once all of the mag-lock slots are used.. that's it. You can mix and match between one very heavy weapon or a few light weapons. The mag-hit system keeps track of how damaged your mecha is and is faster than using paper and pencils to record damage.

The rulebook that is included with the game covers every aspect of the game. From the rules which are very straightforward and simple to learn (and take into account of cover, collisions, etc.) to the assembly and painting of your figure.

The figure itself is also very impressive, the main figure is made out of molded plastic and the weapons, mag-hit and mag-lock are made out of metal, this makes for a very cost effective game which is well worth the money!

So if you're tired of spending a lot of money to get started with a miniature wargame and want a change of pace from the regular genres , give this game a look or go to their website at www.cellentertainment.se and check out the other products that are coming out from this great company.
