The battle boxes are a complete set of minatures for use with the Critter commando system. The box that was reviewed was the frog army which consists of 10 figures.

Each figure is very highly detailed and has very dramatic poses (for frogs). Some of the frogs are in power armor that can be painted to your specifications.

Now I know what your thinking. I should only buy this if I have the Critter Commandos core rulebook. The rulebook is cheap ($14.95) but you don't even have to go out and spend that!

Each of the battle boxes comes complete with a army list and a set of quickstart rules. Which means that you can buy this box and start playing right out of the box!

The box is a hard VCR style box that protects and carries the miniatures safely. The only way to improve this product would to have a sectional box so that the minatures don't slide around so much.

All in all if you're looking to buy a very cheap minatures wargame and spend less than $2.00 a figure, check this line out! Trust me, you'll be glad you did!
