IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nevermore Games, a new freelance based company based out of Virginia, recently announced their first two products to be released April 2001. Nevermore Games was formed by Leon Lewis, a veteran gamer out of Virginia, who was soon joined by others from around the country, and landed a publishing deal with Canada's Dark Onyx Entertainment.

"We certainly hope these two games will gain an audience in what sometimes seems to be a limited market. These games will present a new type of live action format, with straight translations from tabletop gaming to a fun live action format. We have been joined by Anything's Possible, a New Hampshire based LARP supplier, whose catalog will be featured in the back of all of our books." says Leon Lewis, the very excited President of Nevermore Games.

The first game, The Dark and The Valiant, is a high fantasy game pitting players against both physical and mental obstacles. The game can be played from either a hack and slash, minimum roleplay angle, or from a Referee (Game Master) controlled angle, though neither will involve any dice rolling. The game will feature everything possible in one release, with monster tables, adventures, and a complete fantasy setting to please a gamer of any kind.

The second, EspioLARP, is a game that puts players right in the middle of a world of daring super spies and quirky mad scientists. Players will get to utilize wacky inventions of every kind in an attempt to either take over the world, or foil another's attempts to. The game will be one for everyone, because the inventions used will be only modified household items, and if you don't feel like being a super spy or mad scientist, then the roles of "Innocent Victim" or "Mindless Assistant" will always be open.

Nevermore plans to make their premiere at ImagineCon 2001, where they will open up for business with the first selling of their games. Also included in Nevermore's future is a large number of card, tabletop, board, and live action games, with at least 3 in the works for 2001. Nevermore is also looking to start a 'zine for underground gaming, with news, adventures, and everything there is for those either writing an underground game, or those that love them.

Nevermore is open for any submissions for games, and will publish your game to its fullest potential. They are also looking for artists for their card game, and someone to help organize the new 'zine. If interested please use the contact information below:
