Review of Alien Encounters

Goto [ Index ]
Realizing that they had aliens species (the dominant encounter in the Star Wars universe) scattered across countless sourcebooks, the Powers That Be at WEG took it upon themselves to gather as many aliens as possible under one cover. It's taken a long time, but the long overdue Alien Compendium for the Star Wars system has finally arrived in the form of "Alien Encounters."

Listed in alphabetical order, the book has entries for over a hundred aliens that are found in the Star Wars universe. Each entry includes a species description, statistics and most have story factors - a means of giving GMs hints on how to deal with the alien.

"Alien Encounters" is jam packed and well worth the price. It's also damn convenient to have most of the aliens in one book; no more digging for those elusive stats.

Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
Substance: 5 (Excellent!)
