Review of Sir Richard the white knight

Ever since I got started in role playing games, miniatures and games seem to go hand in hand. From the early companies of Grenadier and Ral Partha to Games Workshop and Wiz-Kids of today it always seemed fitting to incorporate miniatures into a role-playing game.

Reaper is a company that makes such high quality miniatures and one of the figures that I recently recieved was Sir Richard the White Knight. This figure is a knight fully clad in plate armor (with a unicorn headpiece) wielding a sword with both hands. The detail on this figure is astounding as you can almost make out the individual links of the chainmail he's wearing underneath. With some miniatures there are bits of flash and mold lines, but I could not find any on this piece.

My only complaint on this piece is that the base is a bit narrow but even then you could build up the base and make it a wonderful addition to any fantasy rpg or wargame. And the price is more than reasonable for a figure of this caliber. If your looking for a affordable knight miniature then look no further than Sir Richard from Reaper minatures.
