Review of Realms of Sorcery

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is one of the two best fantasy RPGs on the market right now (the other being Palladium Fantasy). If you haven't tried it, most certainly do so! For those of us who do play it, I'm sure it's well-known that "Realms of Sorcery" has been in-the-making for about 15 years(!) now. And, let me tell you, it's every bit as good as it should be, with fifteen years of work behind it! There are amazing new character careers (classes), and a butt-load of new spells, magic items and magic runes to make use of in an on-going WFRP campaign. Overall, it's an essential supplement for any GM to own. The one downside to it is thus: "RoS" is not as inclusive as one might wish. There are two systems of magic found in Warhammer Fantasy Battles that are NOT included in "RoS", and these are Dark Elf magic and Chaos Dwarf magic. Both of these, it is claimed, will be described in detail in "future supplements." I'm sure I'm not the only one, here, but that annoys me to no end. At LEAST include the magic system in a book that's supposed to DEFINE the magic systems for the game! The rest of the dark elf and chaos dwarf information can be held-off for their supplements, but why can't we just have the spells and careers now?!
