Review of Predator and Prey: Judge

The second book in the hunter: The Reckoning novel series, this one finnaly deals with the Hunters. The main story involves Douglas Sands, a middle-aged corporate manager with a string of bad luck and an over-sexed mistress. His life begins spiraling downward when he glimpses a vampire stalking his mistress. He ends up attacking the stalker and falling out a window in the attempt.

He then is found by other hunters, and is told breifly about what has happened to him, and his new-found powers. We also meet many of the oft-manipulated mortals from the first novel.

This novel is an excellent veiw into the life of a "typical" hunter, and how truely vulnerable they are (The end fight scene where they corner the vampire in the sewer is a good showcase for this).

HIGHLY recomended for Hunter players, who want to make "normal" people.
