Look, here's what you do.
Pick up a copy of "Fear and Loathing" in your local game store. Flip to page 2. Read it.
If, afterward, you want to keep reading, then buy the book. It's cheap. If you think it's self-indulgent tripe, put it down and move on, because there's nothing else to see here.
"Fear and Loathing" is an attempt to channel Hunter S. Thompson into the Aberrant universe. I was amused, had an idea or two, and ultimately concluded that the whole thing was pretty content-free.
But it did motivate me to pick up the real thing.
