This is a wonderful book. Every year Steve Jackson Games puts out a GURPS book where I say to myself, "What the Hell are they thinking?" I buy the book only because its a GURPS book, only to fall in love with it. Like the Callahan's Bar GURPS book I am inspired to track down the source material from L. Sprague de Camp's Viagens Interplanetarias series to read it for myself. This book does not really require any other Gurps books, beyond the basic rules, therefore you are getting an entire universe for $17.95. I give this book an unqualified "A." Its swashbuckling swordplay in the far future. This book is what Space:1889 could have been. Go out and spend your money now, and then go to your bookstore or Amazon to buy the original books.
