Review of Babylon 5 Project Gamemaster'sBook

The rules for this game are pretty smooth and simple. It reminds me of White Wolf with the idea of successes needed on six sided dice.

I'm planning on using the rules system for The Untouchables of Mars, a nostalgic pulp-action game geared towards crime-busting on Mars, if Earth colonized Mars in the early 20's after the War to End all Wars, WWI. The damage for the weapons in the game is also quite easy and easy to learn. I thought first to use Champions with the hero system framework, but found it too complex with fractions of points to calculate damage, stun, body, advantages and so forth. Palladium's rules are a joke and have no basis in realistic roleplaying. At least Champions had the cool thing with endurance with powers that burn out characters after prolonged conflicts.

Anyway , after paging through the B5 book I found it to be great, especially the long list of questions a player must answer for creation of a PC. Such detail can create nice subplots to explore later on.
