Review of GURPS Warriors

Wow! This book put a big ol' smile on my face.

This is an excellant follow-up to "GURPS Wizards". It continues the use of the template system, the multiple examples of each archtype, and the excellant descriptions of the archtype's conventions and usual modes of operation.

The book covers specialists, from archers to riflemen. It covers those seen in myth and literation, from knights to berserkers to gunslingers. It covers operators, such as artillerists. It's all there, and it's all ready for you to use to your liking. Being GURPS, it's also bloody easy to convert all of this into whatever system you prefer.

There are 116 templates, each with four samples, for you to read and extrapolate upon. All of the historical and technological information required to explain how this or that template's profession came to be is provided. This crew did their homework, and it shows.

So yes, get it. It's just as useful as Wizards was, so snag a copy.
