Divided (like hell itself) into many short sections, there's a lot of material in this book. Obligatory fiction bits are kept short so they can leap right into the details. This ends up casting the book more as a reference and less as a fun read, alas, but the material does round out the universe nicely, and there are enough seeds tucked here and there to make it worth reading. In some cases, these seeds are throwaway lines, but they also have generously tossed in a plethora of short (but fully formed) seeds.
This is almost a book you have read by random sampling, by simply opening a page and letting fate guide you. If you trust fate, that is. If you don't, buy the book and read it all. It'll be time well spent.
