Review of Heavy Gear Armor Pack: Tanks & Striders

This is another in the line of tactical supplements for the Heavy Gear Tactical boxed set. As usual...well, less usual today than it seemed six months ago it is slightly pricey, but very well done. You don't get any gears in this set, but a bunch of mammoth striders, and other sorts of really heavy gear. Evidently this was thrown together as a kind of lark by DP9 and it is a hoot!

This set is a nice addition to the Tactical Boxed Set (which is on sale at the DP9 web site by the way). It really adds to the tactical complexity of design your own battles, and the four included scenarios are kind of a nice bonus as well. Complaints...I wish that there had been more information included about the history of these various vehicles but my guess is that would have raised the price considerably. This is a nice supplement, done to DP9's traditional high standards, and it gets an "A."
