But how can this be? You ask yourself, then you look at it closely and find out.
This book was the most padded supplement I have ever seen. An overly large portion of the book is take un by OCC's which, are, pretty much all the same! Many many occ's which all were just changes on the same theme of 'he uses guns very well'. And in palladium, an occ takes up a lot of space, one and a half to two pages. But this does not prevent them from including the 'Barmaid' occ and a full three page spread on saloon bums!
The above would be funny if the book was otherwise solid, however since the rest of the book is so sparse, the inordinate amount of wasted space is just insulting! Roughly three areas in the west are sketched out extremely sparsely and the equipment section was just more of the same. A monsters section with one or two good entries, but as a whole nothing very usable in campaigns. The areas are too sketchy and the monsters given in the standard, 'here are the stats and a picture, the rest is up to you' that palladium loves to feed you monsters in.
All in all, I expected more from Palladium, and I was sorely disappointed
