Sandy's Soapbox

While I have sympathy for his bereaving
his loud moans ring within my hearing
make it hard for sleep to call
so I 'rap rap rap' upon his wall

He starts yelling about a raven
I'm annoyed at his misbehaving
such noise when sleep we must enjoy
make me tap tap tap to stop his noise
and yet he says to _me_ 'no more'!

As I tap more sounds displeasing,
my frustration is increasing
can't he shut up just for now
perhaps more taps will show him how.

tap tap tap, I voice displeasure
at his raving madly measure
still he's crying about lost lenore
"just be done!", but he yells more.

"Nevermore!" I cry back to my neighbor
and plan to move due to his bad behavior
and my taps go on, my anger blind
a good neighbor is hard to find.
