STRANGE VISTAS RELEASES FOR CHRISTMAS!

The battle to control the seas of Theah rages on! As Guy McCormick

continues to search for his lost wife, the wily Sea Dogs steal a fabulous

treasure from Reis's Crimson Rogers. The Brotherhood of the Coast dodges

both the Castillian Armada and the clever traps of Montaigne's General,

while beneath the waves, hidden forces draw near, hopign to turn the tide

one way or another.

Strange Vistas is the first expansion for the 7th Sea collectible card

game. Players take the role of sea captains in a world of musketeers and

high adventure. This set contains over 150 new cards, plus two new factions

to help send your enemies to the bottom. As time goes on, more expansions

will be added, revealing an epic tale of discovery, blood, and glory. So

check your weapons and climb aboard; the wonders of Theah await!

The Corsairs

"Oppose me an die" – Kheired-Din

From the heart of the Crescent Empire he comes, driven by a vision of glory

and apocalypse. He sinks any ship he finds, kidnapping their crews to row

beneath his decks. A Syrneth cannon rains death from his prow, and some

whisper that he cannot be killed by mortal man. They call him Kheired-Din,

and all of Theah fears his name.

Gosse's Gentlemen

"I have lived well. Now, I shall die well – with courage, dignityÉ and

style."

Thirty years ago, Phillip Gosse and his gentleman pirates retired to a

hidden paradise, rich beyond measure and famous throughout Theah. Now, the

aging crew has ventured forth for one last adventure, joined by a new

generation raised on tales of their exploits. Together, they will ply the

seas again and make all of Theah remember their names.

DOOMTOWN JOINS THE AEG FAMILY

As of January 1, 2000, management of Doomtown (the Deadlands collectible

card game) will

leave Five Rings Publishing, joining Alderac Entertainment Group. Storyline

and mechanics will

continue to come from the AEG offices, with the same level of quality you

have come to expect. In

addition, marketing and distribution of Doomtown will be funneled through

the Ontario, CA offices of

AEG, and all sales and service calls may be directed to our staff as of the

Millennium.

The new Basic Set for Doomtown – Boot Hill – will be released in April. It

will contain a new starter

for each faction remaining after the Kingdom Come tournament, and consist

of 350 cards, including 9

all new deck-only items. The storyline will move forward in the new set,

and will continue in the first

expansion from AEG, due out in Summer 2000.

PINNACLE AND ALDERAC SPLIT COMPLETE

As you have probably already noticed, this is the first issue of New

Horizons that does not

feature Deadlands and Hell on Earth product information. As of November 15,

1999, Alderac and

Pinnacle Entertainment Groups have split into two independent entities, and

will handle their own

properties. For information about Pinnacle releases and news, visit their

homepage at peginc.com.

BRAVE NEW WORLD UNDER THE ALDERAC BANNER

As of the split with Pinnacle, Matt Forbeck's Brave New World will become

an Alderac property.

The first supplement to bear the AEG logo will be the Defiants! sourcebook,

currently at the printers.

NO QUARTER SELLS OUT

Sales for No Quarter, the first basic set for the 7th Sea CCG, have

exceeded all our initial

expectations! Broadsides, the reprint of the basic set (updated to fit into

the current storyline when

it is released) will be shipping to distributors between the first and

second weeks of December, to

(hopefully) be seen in stores by Christmas.

Calls continue to stream in about reorders, and reviews have been

incredibly positive! All told,

we couldn't be more pleased with the success of the 7th Sea CCG. Thanks to
