Review of Survival Kit #1

An excellent piece of work from a new source. The Survival Pack contains stuff mainly for Game Masters of any system, but there is interesting stuff for players too.

The bulk of the pack is a collection of material in various genres, nicely illustrated, including monsters, NPCs, and adventures. There is also an excellent selection of paper miniatures (fantasy in this pack) and a unique idea of including a selection of character art suitable for character sheets or other props with corresponding paper miniatures. The character art and paper miniatures are provided both as color and black and white to suit your fancy.

Everything inside is very useful, and the game stats are provided using a specially designed system created exclusively for converting to other systems. The stats read pretty comprehensibly on their own, or explanations of the stats are available for free download off the company's site.

There is also a sample Survival Pack available on the company's site with the noticable difference that it does not include paper miniatures with the character art. With luck, the company may rectify this in the future. It does feature a cool paper miniature of a dragon instead though.
