Review of GURPS Space Atlas 2
Goto [ Index ] |
This book offers a sector of space, designed to fit in any campaign. Except for a couple annoying references to worlds from Space Atlas 1 and GURPS Space, it achieves this perfectly. This book has many of the same problems as I noted Space Atlas 4 had - it has no aliens, and the format seems restrictive. However, this book includes a memorable setting that has internal links. The corporations and the corporate society, in particular, has a distinct flavor the players will remember. One downside is that individual planets from this work are hard to pull out seperate from the rest of the sector.
This book is somewhat interesting and useful. It's generic enough to be used in many worlds and systems. If you have a multi-world science fiction campaign, and you come across this book, it's at least worth glancing through. It's generic enough to use with any system, and all but the most unusual interstellar campaign.
Style: 2 (Needs Work)
Substance: 3 (Average)
