Review of Imazine

This gaming e-magazine is published by a fellow Alarams & Excursions contributor (see review in archive), and is available in print form as well. Having read through all of the issues available on their web page (http://www.tcp-ip.or.jp/~panurge/imaz.htm), I can say that it is a consistantly high quality effort. Most of the issues (25-30) are adobe acrobat files (21 and 22 of imazine are zipped text files, 23 and 24 are zipped HTML files) with the table of contents linked to the articles for quick reference with a click of the mouse (a link to download acrobat reader is provided).

The articles in each issue are of three general subjects; product reviews, gaming advice and the developing "Outlaws of the Water Margin" oriental rpg. "Outlaws..." is the pet project of the publisher/editor and is apparently based on a British television show. Two seperate issues featured different "lite" rules versions for the game and one had a full lenght adventure for it. I found the reviews informative, the advice helpful and the "Outlaws..." articles interesting. Each issue was an enjoyable read, check it out on the webpage or write for information on receiving printed copies.
