Review of THE TROUBLE WITH FRIENDS
The book starts by detailing a criminal organization, the Winged Dagger, that plays a supporting role in each adventure. It then describes an area tavern, High Spirits, because we all know that's where great adventures begin and end. The adventures themselves are as follows:
-The Terror of the Mines, a dungeon crawl that is more and less than it seems. -A Penny a Day, featuring highly varied NPC interactions and a seemingly ordinary coin that affects a region in a very Sienfeld-fantasy magic kind of way. -Carts, Horses, Sore Feet and the Princess, a diplomatic mission, a war and an unlucky princess make a cake run seem mission impossible. -The Secret of the Ksrand Mountain, ancient mystery to unravel.
All good stuff. I do not know the cover price, I have seen it available reduced to as low as $1. It is worth the price of any other roleplaying module of equal size, do not fear, purchase it.
Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
Substance: 3 (Average)
