Review of The Book of Crafts
Goto [ Index ] |
"The Book of Crafts" is a Mage 2.0 book that describes the top eight Crafts in the World of Darkness. Each one comes from a different part of the world, and each has something to offer the reader. One of them will appeal to the reader, be it the Knights Templar or the Wu-Lung. Each Craft gets its own chapter, and that chapter describes everything that a gamer must know to properly portray a mage from such a Craft.
The eight Crafts are: the Bata'a (Voudon), the Children of Knowledge (Alchemists, descended from the Solifacti), the Hem-Ka Sobk (Egyptian Croc-Cultists from Pre-Dynasty days), the Kopa Loei (Native Hawaiian animist-mages), the Sisters of Hippolyta (Amazons), Knights Templars, the Wu-Keng (Chinese Diabolists), and the Wu-Lung (Chinese Imperial Dragon Wizards). Together, they grant a very different perspective on the Ascension War. They also give a lot of variety to the allies and enemies a PC might find during a Mage campaign.
Yes, you should get this book. Do so while you can, and you will not regret it.
