I don't know why the box says, "trading cards," because every box has the same cards. There's nothing to trade. Now that I'm done picking nits, I must say that this is a wonderfully written and illustrated history of real monsters, demons, and ghosts. They aren't as spooky as the UFO cards, and there aren't as many supernatural monsters. However, there are some extraordinarily creepy human serial killer type monsters that will bring chills to the spine. You can't play any games with these cards, but they would make a nice resource for horror games and monster buffs. I give this set an "A."
