Review of Star Drive Accessory: The Lighthouse

Picture this…a starship, a cityship (at least its larger than a "warhulk") traveling around a sector of space. Its so big that other ships can hitch rides on board. Its a center of commerce, knowledge, and intrigue. In the Star Drive setting book the description was pure heaven and I said to myself, "This can't go wrong." Oops.

You've got a setup that's so exciting I can see players vibrating in their seats…and this is boring. TSR has missed the can't miss setup. the Tavern that will always travel to where the player's are…the home city where player's train, trade rumours and return to, follows them across the cosmos. There's a boring map, boring descriptions of the inhabitants, boring intrigues. It wasn't as much of a waste of my time and money as Warhulk, but it came pretty close. This gets a "D."

Style: 2 (Needs Work)
Substance: 1 (I Wasted My Money)
