Review of Devil's Tower 2: Heart o'Darkness

The Devil's Tower Trilogy continues, and it leads us to the hunt for the Heart of Darkness!

Without spoiling too much of the current plot, the Heart o' Darkness leads the posse from the City o'Gloom to the City of Lost Angels, where they must face break into a prison to find the legendary Heart of Darkness. Unfortunately for the posse, the prison is supposedly impenetrable, and definitely well-guarded! Even if they get the jewel, their troubles are just beginning, because they're not the only ones looking for the Heart of Darkness.

Heart o'Darkness is another wonderful addition to Pinnacle's lineup of adventures, although it's not for new players of Deadlands, so keep that in mind when looking for an adventure to torment your posse!

The bad thing about Heart o'Darkness is the same thing that was wrong in the Road to Hell--$9.95 for 48 pages??? Why can't Pinnacle give us more for our money? They manage great with the Dime Novels, so where's the problem?

Hoever, if money is no object, Heart o'Darkness is a must buy, because it concludes in Fortress o' Fear!

Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
Substance: 4 (Meaty)
