A CD-Rom containing 28 TIFF files, which between them comprise 604 pictures that will fold down to make "Cardboard Hero" like counters - The exact size depends on the pose, but an "average" human is around 31-34mm high by around 17-18mm wide (I printed some off as "Actual size" and some as "Shrink to fit on A4 Paper", but the difference in size is negligible). Since the images are supplied as computer images, of course you can always print them at any size to suit your needs
The artwork is of a high standard, by three established Gloranthan Artists. Sarah's pictures tend to be slightly "softer" than Simons and Dario's, but none look particularly out of place compared with others from the range.
There is a mix of figures from individual adventurers to military units, so whether you are looking to provide figures for your regular RPG session or stage a skirmish or battle there should be figures for you here. Most are Orlanthi or Lunars, to tie in with "Orlanth is Dead" and "Imperial Lunar Handbook Vol 1", but there are also a selection of favourite Gloranthan creatures (Broo, Scorpionmen, Ducks, Uz) and natural creatures (Cattle for all those "Barbarian Adventures" Cattle Raids). Again, because you are buying digital images rather than sheets of cardboard, you need only print out the images you want (You can cut individual images from the TIFF files and paste them into a single document to mix and match between sheets).
Another advantage with this method of distribution is that you can use image manipulation software to change colours or (if you are a reasonable artist) shields or weapons)
Even if you don't play in Glorantha, if you use these sorts of figures in your games then you should consider this CD for Fantasy warriors (including cavalry) and magicians
So do I have any complaints? None serious, although If I wanted to pick nits some of the images are repeated (understandable for a regular unit like the Beryl Phalanx - less so for the Heortling villagers.
