Uzghul Titan Orc Commander has a height foot to eye level 35mm. This makes him one big miniature.
There are a few things I like about this figure. The first is the size. It's often hard to appreciate orcs in a standard game after a long period of time. With many game systems using a point base or allowing orcs to be more than 1 HD monsters, it's no longer the case of worrying about a whimp but rather, having a miniature to portray how powerful the orc in question is.
Having a one piece orc that's larger than the standard figures from the D&D Miniatures line and even larger than the standard orc brutes in the Confrontation line, goes a long way in making a figure that has utility right off the bat.
This one has a massive shield and sword. The sword is held almost at attention while the shield is a massive thing of iron and steel with the prototypical evil skull upon it.
The orc's body is clad in plate and chain. His skull protected by a metal cap with chain flaps. His lower portion protected by plates and chain with the every typical evil skulls hanging from tassels.
The only thing I don't like about the figure, and it's pretty much a signature of the scultor, is that the eyes are out, not in. This makes it a lot easier to paint them, but at the same time, can give the orc a bug eyed apperance if you're not ready for it.
I bought mine (two of 'em!) a long time ago from the wonderful Dragglestown/Discount Hobby website, but they haven't been selling them for some time. Games Plus in Mt. Prospect also carries a few of 'em, but I suspect the main source of them these days is probably right from the old Olleys army site itself, http://www.olleysarmies.co.uk/orcstore.html .
If you want to surprise your players with some orcs that aren't to your typical scale, maybe some orc-ogre breeds (orogs anyone), then these figures are perfect for you.
