REVIEW OF Puffy the Pompous Dragon
Puffy the Pompus Dragon is an interesting piece as far as dragons go. These days, too many dragons are in some upper charging attack, especially those from Wizards of the Coast. In those cases, it's probably because the miniature has to fit certain dimensions so it has to be created in such a way so that it fits.

This dragon on the other hand...

He likes to take things easy.

This is a four piece figure. The majority of it is the main body. It has a bit of flash at the tail end of things, but cleaning was easy. The body includes the sleek neck, as well as the majority of the body.

Details in the sculpting are fantastic and it's easy to tell this is one of Olleys figures. The hands folded, the easy way the creature lays atop it's base, the pulled in tall all add up when looking at the high detail on the scales on the back of the neck or the numerous tiny scales on the main body.

The next big piece is the base. The base has a lot of little details on it. These include things like skulls, coins, urns and other goods. It doesn't quite meet up with the body properly. The dragon fits mind you, but there is some loose space. I used the old green stuff, a little too much I might add, to fill in those gaps.

Last up are the wings. The wings are simple things that are slotted to the main body and slide right in with no problems.

About the only problem with the creature is finding a local place that sells it! If anyone knows where you can find Puffy outside from old Olley himself, http://www.olleysarmies.co.uk/dragons.html , especially in the United States, let a paint fan know!
