Chapter 1: Dead from Above
This chapter contains all the rules you need to make an campaign with pilots as the core focus. It has rules for aerial dogfights, bombing missions, and calling for air strikes. There is new feats in this book. While the feats are meant for pilots, there is not any real reason why other classes cant use them as well. This section also has the Pilot core class. This is mentioned in the Blood on the Rhine core setting book, but is not listed there. I guess that in order to make aerial warfare optional, they needed to take the pilot class and place it in a separate book. This is a good chapter that can be used as desired or ignored at leisure.
Chapter 2: Aircraft Profiles
All the aircraft ones expects to find in a War over Europe campaign. It has pretty much all the aircraft that the average soldier will see in Europe. The planes are grouped together by country.
Chapter 3: Memphis Hell Taking up the majority of the book is this chapter, an adventure. The basic idea about this adventure is the players going into Occupied France and rescue a downed plane. Then you are suppose to take that plane to fly its last mission. Sounds easy enough right. But this is set in the Weird War, so life is rarely that easy. I would tell what that surprise is, but that would not be fair to the people that want to play through it. To tell what it is would spoil the surprise.
Chapter 4: Fly the Deadly Skies
This is a bestiary of aerial monsters for your Weird War campaign. These monsters add a little depth to your Weird War. They are more than just stat blocks. They have an idea for using them in your campaign. Each of them have a little adventure seed to place in your chronicle. They do tend to railroad your characters, but this is a war story. If you do not do what you are told, then you risk court martial and worse.
Overall the books has nice artwork. There is a lot of period photo's in this book too. I adds a little variety for your campaign. The layout has cool as well. If you want to have an aerial campaign, then you need this book.
