Just to clearly set out how 3D RPG is provided, please endure the
following legal comments. The off-the-cuff summary is "run games
with it however you want, but if you plan to publish or make a profit
off it, please read this first!".
DISCLAIMER: Access to and use of the Dice-Deck Designed Role Playing Game
(3D RPG) is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- The Dice-Deck
Designed Role Player Game (called the 3D RPG hereafter) is authored by
Scott J. Compton of Sherman Oaks, California from 1/9/97 to the present.
- Scott J. Compton directly controls all documentation, creative rights, and
all other materials specific to 3D RPG.
- All users and parties that use
the 3D RPG must never sell this game for profit nor distribute it by any
means publicly, without permission of the author.
- All users and parties
must never alter, modify, or rewrite the 3D RPG publicly.
- 3D RPG materials
may be photocopied and altered for home use, and supplements may be created
for the game if used privately.
- Any materials publicly written for use
with the 3D RPG must first be approved by Scott J. Compton are not assured
publication on any forum of media.
- All users and parties of the 3D RPG
understand and agree that Scott J. Compton is not responsible for any
problems created or associated by the 3D RPG or damage (physical,
mental, or emotional) resulting from the 3D RPG.
- All users and parties
understand that the 3D RPG is copyrighted under worldwide laws and is
fully registered with the Writer's Guild of America.
- Game materials and
submissions written for the 3D RPG such as fantasy and science fiction
settings can be directed to Scott J. Compton (sord@worldnet.att.net).
- Publishers interested in using 3D RPG as their universal system of choice
are welcome to negotiate new contracts with the author.
