We just started the company last month, and like any company we need to have a good logo. Since our products will be crowdsourced, we thought it appropriate to crowdsource our logo design via 99designs.com.
The winning designer will receive almost $200 for their effort. If you haven't heard of bySwarm yet, you can read about us at our website. You can also read more about the contest on this page specifically.
The goal of bySwarm is to build an RPG game setting using our community, which we call the Swarm. We are currently accepting setting concept submissions which are voted upon by the community for creativity, writing quality, and whether the concept inspires a desire to contribute. We will use the winning setting concept as the guide for the community to build out the details of the setting. In the end, RPG books that we sell will return 60% of their revenue back to the contributors whose content was used in the book. We see it as a great opportunity for aspiring game designers and writers to get their work published and noticed by the gaming community. GMs and players alike are also encouraged to contribute as there is no minimum amount you have to contribute to get your creations onto the site.
