Red Juggernaut reports on 2007-12-08:
Seattle, Wash. – Red Juggernaut is releasing their first stories set in the vibrant original fantasy setting called the World of Terris. The new series, "Hungerblade” is a 15 part work of serial fiction by noted author and game designer Robin D. Laws. It can be found at www.redjuggernaut.com. The first two chapters are available now and new chapters are posted every Monday.
"Robin is the perfect author to begin our growing fiction line," said Jim Long, CEO of Red Juggernaut. "Robin was key to developing our entire world and this piece really captures the feel of that environment. The World of Terris is a completely unique fantasy setting, with its own cultures, characters, and intrigues. The Messengers are central to one of the main cultures, the Dotur. Not only do they deliver messages, but select members are empowered to act on behalf of the court. Jacques Gardien, the central character, is one of the few messengers empowered to act for the king. Through his adventures readers will begin to understand the rich background of the World of Terris including events tied to our first game, Battue: Storm of the Horse Lords. We will publish the story on our web site, with new chapters coming out once per week until the story concludes. We also have several other stories in progress so readers will get the chance to learn more about the World of Terris over the coming months.” The World of Terris was developed by Long, Executive Vice President Jon Leitheusser, renowned fantasy author Robin D. Laws, and industry veteran Scott Hungerford.
The Red Juggernaut team has won multiple awards, including several prestigious Origins Awards, for game design and authorship in the past.
