When I first picked up this boxed miniature I was quite excited. It was the first diorama that I had ever painted and was lookign forward to the challenge. When I opened the box I discovere dparts of the miniature to be horribly cast and parts missing due to the mold not being fully filled.

I got a hold of Reaper and told them this. They were shocked and sent me another Druid Stone on their dime to make up for it.

The one they sent me was in perfect. There was, like all Reaper products, minimal flash and prepping it was a breeze.

The fact that this boxed miniature is based off of a Kieth Parkinson painting is a plus. On its own and you never heard of Parkinson it is still a great miniature worth picking up.

The only ding I can place on the Druid Stone is the fact that some of the pieces could have been easier to put together. Nothign gap filler can't take care of.

It was easy to paint and it is still one of my favorite miniatures that I have painted. Kudos to Reaper.

Style: 5 (Excellent!)
Substance: 4 (Meaty)
