Falling is a card game brought to you by the wonderful people at Cheapass Games. It is a fast paced card game that is designed for 4-8 players. And the best part of this game, it's not collectible. You get all you need in this one deck of cards! All the players are falling and the object of this game is to hit the ground last, seriously.
The players are seated in a circle and the dealer sits and deals the cards to the players. He also makes the judgement calls and his call is the final say if timing conflicts arise. There are no turns in this game, everyone is going at the same time. You can only pick up one card at a time. In fact some of the mechanics of the game function along the lines of poker or blackjack, if you recieve a certain card you can hit for another card, split to form a new stack or skip this player. The card art is done by Brian Snoddy and he did a terrific job. The images that adorn these cards are humorous and filled with action (In keeping with the games pace.) So if you're burned out on all those CCG's give this one a try and be prepared for some wild and fast fun!
Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
