Of all the supplements that have come out so far for In Nomine, this is probably the one least tied to the "Revelations" cycle currently concluding with Fall of the Malakim and The Final Trumpet.

However, this is a good thing. To be blunt, this book's best features is the fact that it *isn't* tied to any one single In Nomine "universe"; instead, most of these relics can be used anywhere, or at anytime, assuming some very basic background.

The book opens with an update from "A Bright/Dark Dream", the opening stories of the main book. It then proceeds with a description of the nature of artifacts, creating them, and a number of examples of them.

This isn't written as clearly as it could have been; however, this is probably due to the sheer number of authors and editors involved in the book. However, one solid run-through reading it clarified most everything I had been confused about on the skimming of the book.

At the end of the book are two adventures. "The Nybbas Computer" is more of an adventure seed then a fully-fleshed out adventure. "The Collector" is a lot more fleshed out, and provides several different possibilities for adventuring.

All in all, it's a very solid book, perhaps not as flashy as some In Nomine products (such as the beautiful main book) but definitely well worth it - perhaps more so then any other supplement in the line so far.

Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
Substance: 5 (Excellent!)
