This, the first of Rubicon's original supplements for Everway, takes the form of a half-size 84 page booklet, with a single quest card inside. The book is in two parts; the first being a quest by Nichole Lindroos, and the second a description of the two realms through which the quest travels, Sun Mound and Highpole. Both the realms are based on Native American mythology and culture (how closely, I'm not enough of an expert to know), and have a refreshingly different feel to most FRP game worlds.

The quest involves the heroes being called to the realm of Sun Mound, where the pollution of their sacred fire has lead to death and disease. They must go on a long trek across a burning desert or along an underground river, to find the other half of the tribe, which left centuries ago, to rekindle the sacred fire. Along the way, the PCs encounter lots of strange and wonderous things, from the mysterious salmon people to the Thunderbird himself, as well as dealing with the strange and unusual customs of the two tribes.

Style: 4 (Classy and well done)
Substance: 5 (Excellent!)
