This book is excellent. I have several Mage addons and one other Changeling add-on, and Isle of the Mighty ranks way up there. The artwork is completely gorgeous, most of it being paint, and all in color. The first four illustrations are positively jaw-dropping. Only several less than stellar things towards the back diminished the rating. Information-wise, there's a LOT of it. Although the book isn't long, it's printed in a deceptively small font. Content is divided into three sections: England, Scotland and Wales, each of which subdivides into history, current state of affairs and characters. The chapters also have terminology, details on culture etc. Flavor text is sparse, with the appropriate name-checking of various members of other WW lines. Mostly, they're Wycks, Coes or Hermetics. (Yay!) Details on the Ghille Du arrive at the very end of the book. White Wolf has a general tendency towards hamstringing most of their critters with annoying flaws like sunlight, banality, paradox.. etc. Spoiled an otherwise good read of many a tradition book, that. That factor enters low, veers off, and scarcely returns in this book. And for that, I am thankful.
