This book does a great job of proving that you can't judge a book by its cover. The cover art leaps off the page and is easily one of the best covers I have seenon any WEG product. Unfortunately the wow stops at the cover. The rest of the book leaves much to be desired.
It starts off well with 11 pages of a new skill "Base Engineering" and then a description of how to build a stronghold. After that it's seemingly endless descriptions of one base after another. Very quickl the descriptions start sounding alike and the story hooks aren't very exciting. Take a look at the book while you are in the store if you really need inspiration for that night's game. But then put the book back on the shelf and buy the group some pizza.
