Dungeon Map is an inexpensive 22” x 34” play mat marked off in 1” squares. The map is coated so that you can write on it and erase a number of times. The product itself recommends using a carpentry pencil, and I can tell you that the coating doesn’t handle markers at all. Those won’t erase. If you do happen to screw up, the map sheet is double-sided, so you can just use the other side. Each square on the map sheet is numbered, which can aid a GM in keeping track of all of his nefarious traps. The map squares are also printed to look like stonework. You, of course, could use it for an outdoor map, but it is intended to look like a stone floor. Bottom line, if you use miniatures to play your D20 games, this is a good value. It won’t last all that long with vigorous use, but it’s only $5, so what did you expect?
