Maximum Damage
Maximum Damage is a supplement for Extreme Vengeance. Extreme Vengeance, the role-playing game of barely acting, pumped up, bad guy stomping, mega-destruction action movie heroes is a fun lighthearted game that can be used to break up the seriousness of other games.

Maximum Contents
Maximum Damage adds weapons, repertoires, movie rules, and adventures to Extreme Vengeance. The book is broken into several sections each highlighting different elements of the game.

  • 'Maximum Force' adds to the methods of death and destruction including big guns, chemical attacks, and playing cards.
  • 'Maximum Vengeance' adds to the repertoires that action heroes can use to enhance popularity and actions.
  • 'Maximum Commandments' adds action movie truisms; these are the rules that must appear in an action movie for it to be an action movie.
  • 'Maximum Impact' adds a new adventure for the heroes to cut loose against.
  • 'Maximum Lethality' adds a table for those action heroes that need help finding a way to attack when inspiration is lacking.

    Maximum Look
Maximum Damage is a rather light book. Thirty pages, at $8 that is about $0.26 per page. So are all the pages worth $0.26? A mean looking woman with a big gun and little clothing is on the cover and fills the margins of the book. Every other page includes a half-page of line art, not the best but it serves a purpose as filler. The text is readable and easy to understand and written in a fun and amusing manner.

    Maximum Damage?
Is this supplement for you? It is of value only if you play or own Extreme Vengeance. If you own Extreme Vengeance and play or run it and need some new inspiration, pick up this supplement. If you picked up Extreme Vengeance and played it once or read the book and tossed it on your 'shelf of never played games' the book is not for you. If you have, players that are inspired heavy action movie hero fanatics then you may not need the book; but then again, you may want it just for your collection.
