Super System is a set of rules for a super heroes table top game. Instead of being a typical role-playing game, Super System decided to make a tactical miniatures game instead.

Included in this 64 page rulebook is everything that you need to play the game. The rules of the game are fast-paced and very easy to learn. The core of the Super System is what is known as the Goal Roll. When a character has to make a check the player rolls that many dice. Anything that is more than a four is counted as a success. These rolls are used for everything including actions and combat.

The character creation system is point based, but no more than 50 points can be spent on one miniature. These points are used for buying basic attributes as well as buying powers for your character. This would also determine how many action points that a character has. Action points are used for such tasks as attacking and moving across the playing field.

There is also a background included on the world of Super System and the different factions that exist in this universe. Also included are sample characters in each of the factions. This book also has a feel of a comic book, there is even a three page comic right in front of the book!

Super System also has it's own line of figures and a website at www.superfigs.net. These figures are very well detailed and affordably priced. If you like super hero games, give this game a look. Trust me, you will not be dissappointed.
