Pro Fantasy Software recently released Symbol Set 1, Fantasy Overland, an add-on for Campaign Cartographer 2.

As I had mentioned in my recent review of CC2, one of it's main strenth's is it's symbol library. This add-on gives you over a thousand new symbols for your fantasy maps!

The program adds a new artistic feel to CC2, with new symbols for cities (Stlyles inculde European, Ancient, Asian, Classic, etc.), Mountains, Vegetation, Coastal and a plethora of others. The variation of vegetaion and mountain symbols is in a different style, which allows for a wider variety of creations.

New bridges, landmarks, commerce and religious/political symbols make this a must own for anyone using CC2 for their fantasy mapping needs. You can download it from Pro Fantasy's site, or get it on CD-Rom format. Download is 8mb. Price for either option is $19.95. Usually the price of CC2 products is a turn off to buyers, but if you have already spent the money on CC2, this is one upgrade that is well worth every penny.
