A Fistful of Credits the first pocket-sized adventure for the Waste World RPG also contains Waste World Lite (now available on-line at http:\\www.manticor.com) which for the purposes of review I did NOT use in playtesting this adventure.

On to the good stuff. To Narrator's of Waste World, I highly recommend this adventure. It's great! There are only a few small problems overall with it, otherwise it's a wonderful introductory adventure for your players. It's also suitable for experienced players.

The writing and quality of the setting for this adventure is superb. It can be dropped into almost any existing campaign with little effort. There are great rewards and even greater risks. Characters are going to need to use both their brawn and their brains to survive this one.

The encounters are all pretty good with only a couple of minor glitches. The first is the encounter with the manticore. Even though it is almost their mascot, it's inclusion was a little corny. Otherwise the rest of the encounters are well done. Most of the encounters are also scaled for the number of characters in the party. Making it easy for beginning Narrator's to navigate through the adventure.

The minor complaints I have about this product are the lack of a map for the city of Hades, the difficulty and deadliness of the Gate riddle, and the corny Manticore encounter.

Overall, this is an excellent addition to the Waste World product line. The adventure is well done, my PC's made it through in two night of gaming, with no deaths. There were heavy casualties on all sides, but they enjoyed it thoroughly.

Style: 3 (Average)
Substance: 5 (Excellent!)
