Okay. It is my guess that many of you thought that the Men In Black RPG needed some work. In some places maybe. But the Director's Guide can help.
First off, I should note that when you pick it up, it reminds you immediately of the Star Wars Gamemaster Screen. But, while the Guide does have a Director's screen, it is more of a handbook for potential Directors (in case you haven't picked up on it, or simply have forgotten by now, the Director is the MiB RPG's equivalent of the GM). While the screen itself needs some more info, the 64-page booklet that comes with the screen is much more valuable. It is divided, much like the main rulebook, into folders, although the Guide only has four. The first folder is on the Basics of the Director's trade. The second folder contains info on creating characters. Folder 3 features info on making alien technology like Variable Hyperplasma Guns, and Electrostatic Interthermal Detectors (including a phat tech-naming chart). The last folder has stuff on creating places to play in your campaign. Unlike the main book, the Guide is bit more straightforward in its discriptions. All in all, the guide is a must for MiB Directors. ...don't forget to tell 'em the Darkwing sent 'ya.
Style: 5 (Excellent!)
