Ye Book of Monstres II-is a monster book--that's it. For $12, buy some of those new cheaper Cthulhu adventures, or wait for the Cthulhu: Creature Companion. It should cost $19.95, and will include the previous two Books of Monstres, plus even more stuff. A montser book is okay, the drawings are nice, but the strength of Cthulhu has always been in its strong narratives and scenarios-- this book is all information with very little narrative. I didn't care for it. I like it when the monsters are packaged with scenarios. For myself it'd be a lot harder coming up with a scenario than a bunch of scary monsters-- maybe I'm weird. I give this one a "D," because I feel that there are better ways to spend my Cthulhu dollar.
