Critter Commandos 2000 is a revamp of the original critter commandos as well as the sequel , critter tek. Critter Commandos is a wargame with animals, so instead of humans and elves you have lions and tigers and bears.. oh my!

The rulebook is very easy to read and the rules are simple to learn. Each unit has six attributes: Strength (HTH) , Accuracy (to hit), Mind (leadership) , Holes (damage) , Movement (how far you can move) and Cost (cost of unit).

There are also rules for building vehicles and Tek's (giant robots) as well as a history of the universe, types of armies found in the game (like the diabolical ratzis or the frog federation).

If you are a serious wargamer, you might want to pass on this book. But if you're looking for a break from all the serious wargames out there, give this book a try! Trust me and at $14.95 this game will not break you.
