Genre tags: Fantasy Diceless | Hera and Zeus is a control for the heavens and the earth. This game is fought thru cards. The cards are arranged in rows of three and the more rows that you have the more action points you get to spend. Action points are used to draw a card, play a card, play a mythology card or to challenge a opponents card. As these cards are put into play you can try to put hera or zeus into play which adds to your action point total (it becomes 4 points a turn no matter how many rows you have) The game can end in more than a few ways, if your opponent cannot use all of his action points in his turn he loses. There are other ways to win or lose the game but I am not going to go into detail with those. The card art is superb and the game plays for an average of 45+ minutes per game so it is good for a break in role playing games. I recommend in picking this game up, if not for anything to break the tedium in your typical role playing and card games. Style: 4 (Classy and well done) Substance: 4 (Meaty) | |
