Genre tags: Diceless | Barnyard Critters is a fast paced Card Game for 2 to 8 players. This game is very easy to learn and simple to play. Farmer Brown's animals are hiding and you have to find them before he can go to bed. How the game works is that all the cards of various colored animals (dog, cat, horse, cow and pig) are dealt out face up in a circle. There is another deck of cards and on each card there are 4 animals and it is up to you to find the missing animal from the ones on the table. Whoever puts their finger on it and says aloud here is that animal gets to put that animal in front of them. Play continues until this deck is depleted and whoever has the most cards in front of them wins. I like this game, it's a nice change from all the serious RPG's out there and it's nice to play a complete game in 15 minutes or less. Give this a shot to introduce the young ones into the world of gaming, they'll love it. Style: 4 (Classy and well done) Substance: 2 (Sparse) | |
