Genre tags: Fantasy Science fiction Modern day Historical Horror Far Future Space Comedy Anime Espionage Conspiracy Post-apocalypse Old West Vampire Gothic Asian/Far East Superhero Diceless Generic Live-action | Before I review this, a personal note of interest. I was one of the first to review Multiverser, an on-line only game that could only be ordered through the web site. I managed to get a copy and liked everything about it, it was just way too homemade, and that was basically the only fault I saw in it. Fast forward about 2 years time. I get word that the book has been redone with a new format and all new look. While the content was the same, the minor flaws I found in it, such as a completely screwed up index, have all been fixed. The drawings are redone in a sharper, more professional look. The cover is a real cover, it's a real book, not a print shop copy. The book is real this time I tell you! And it looks good! anyway, the rules are the biggest collection of game rules I have ever seen, while others spread them out into volumes, this company put them in one HUGE book. Not a bad thing at all. Anyway, I liked it the first time around, I like it even more this time. The book is solidly written, the art is great, everything about it is good. Now hopefully with the new printing the series will move forward with new books as well and available everywhere, I got mine from www.bn.com (barnes & noble). Worth every penny and I am glad I bought the second printing because I wasn't sure the first would hold up. Style: 5 (Excellent!)Substance: 5 (Excellent!) | |
