The Wzard's Spell Compendium(hereafter known as WSC)series is one of the best TSR products ever. It is 4 volumes of every spell ever printed through 1995. It includes the Player's Handbook, the Tome of Magic, adventures, accessiries(I misspelled that) and magazines.
The WSC expands the spell list so dramticaly that no longer will every 1st level wizard pick the same spells. It also helps specialty mages, especially the necromancer and the mages introduced in the Player's Option line of books. Finally, necromancers have decent high level spells. The only drawback to this book is the price. I dropped one hundred dollars for this. It could have been twenty dollars, and twenty-five for a hardback version. Still, if you play D&D, they are worth your money. I just hope hey release updates.
